Friends of the Rosary,

We celebrate today the Solemnity of All Saints.

We honor the souls who were faithful to Jesus Christ’s teaching and were beatified and canonized. They enjoy in Heaven the face of Jesus Christ and intercede for us.

Mind you, this feast was instituted to honor the unknown saints as well. Some of them could be our own relatives.

We all have “a universal call to holiness.” Being a saint is hard work. But anyone can be a saint. Saying that holiness is not for us is a big lie.

In fact, holiness will grow into us by devoting our life to the glory of God and the service of our neighbor. This way we will follow the footsteps of the saints in Heaven.
