Friends of the Rosary:

In yesterday’s first reading (Acts 5:27-32, 40b-41), we learn that Peter and the apostles were questioned by the Sanhedrin and suffered public mockery and dishonor for preaching in the name of Jesus.

Moreover, they rejoiced that “they have been found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name of Jesus.”

Today’s society is not much different. You obey the Holy Trinity rather than men, and you get in trouble. In western countries, you won’t be brutally martyred, but you might be mocked.

Political correctness means embracing the humanitarian ideologies that deny the sanctity of marriage and family and reject the protection of life from conception to natural death.

Non-believers or lukewarm Christians are dominant. Like the apostles, we must continue being witnesses of Christ, teaching by example.

Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
