Friends of the Rosary:
Jesus is the bread of life. This week, we read and meditate upon His words. “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my Flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” (John 6:51)
Jesus Christ gives Himself away as the food that the world needs for today and tomorrow in eternal life. A personal, living, incarnated God who wants to be eaten and drunk — and whose extension is the Eucharist.
“Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood remains in me and I in him.” (John 6:52-59)
God shows His total and unconditional love and offers Himself as true food for the soul.
Only through the lens of the mystery of divine mercy, we will understand why the Creator of the Universe gives us this gift.
Despite our offenses and insults, the Son of God and his divine Mother calls us individually, inviting us to repent, convert and enjoy His light.
Let’s not be fed with food that leads nowhere, causes despair, and ruins our souls.
