Friends of the Rosary,
“You do not want to come to me to have life,” said Christ Jesus at that time to the Jews (John 5:31–47)
We sadly prefer human testimony, as our pride confuses us. We are incapable of seeing the humility of the logos.
“I came in the name of my Father, but you do not accept me; yet if another comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe, when you accept praise from one another and do not seek the praise that comes from the only God?”
Pride is a dangerous sin as it moves us to replace our infinite, all-merciful God, for whom we are made.
It brings our destruction as we refuse to come to the Holy One to have life
Remember us, O Lord, come to save your chosen people.
