• In Memoriam of Maria Blanca: Testimonials
Friends of the Rosary:
We celebrate today the Solemnity of the Epiphany: the Magi come from the East to adore the Savior. As the Scripture said, “And entering into the house, they found the Child with Mary, His Mother, and falling down they adored Him.”
Epiphany means manifestation. It’s the manifestation of the Lord to the whole world, an affirmation of universal salvation. Jesus, the Messiah, is revealed as the light of the nations.
The Magi — Gaspar, Melchior, and Balthasar — reached Bethlehem, kneeling down for the baby Jesus. They led in the wake of all the people on earth. And their adoration marked the beginning of the Christian faith.
In Spanish-speaking countries, the Epiphany, the Three Kings, la festividad de los Reyes Magos, is a large celebration. Kids receive presents like Jesus was offered by the Three Kings gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
