Friends of the Rosary:
The eye-opening parable of the wheat and the weed (Matthew 13:24-43) that we read yesterday depicts the challenges of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.
The Evil doer — the weed — cannot change his wicked nature. The Fallen Angels have been sinning since the beginning. They want to destroy as many souls as possible through sophisticated lies and snares.
But the sinner men and women can abandon darkness and change their ways. God gives mankind every chance and every help to do this, up to his last moment of life. It’s due to the unfathomable mercy and forgiveness of Christ.
No sinner will be excluded from eternal paradise because of his sins but because he did not repent while he had the opportunity. The divine patience is infinite when dealing with sinners.
We must try to imitate the patience God shows toward our brothers.
