Friends of the Rosary,
As St. Peter instructs us in his second letter (2 Pt 3:12-15a, 17-18), we should “grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
“Wait for and hasten the coming of the day of God,
because of which the heavens will be dissolved in flames
and the elements melted by fire.
But according to his promise,
we await new heavens and a new earth
in which righteousness dwells.”
Our challenge is to await this tribulation at peace, considering “the patience of our Lord as salvation.”
We learn from St. Paul, who, in his second letter to Corinthians, stated, “I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.”
