Friends of the Rosary:
Today, the faithful marvel at the dialogue between Jesus Christ and the Samaritan woman (John 4:5-15, 19-26, 39-42).
We see the humanity and divinity of Jesus, full man and full God, in full display.
Jesus tells her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, `Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”
Jesus, the bread of life and the living water, reveals His glory to the Samaritan woman, and through her to all of us until the end of times:
“Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst; the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
The Samaritan ends up recognizing Jesus as the “Savior of the world,” and many believed in Him because of the woman’s testimony.
Jesus, I Trust In You!
