“Everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.” These are words of Jesus Christ that we read this Wednesday, March 24 (Jn 8:31-42)
“If you remain in my word, you will truly be my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Only Jesus Christ sets us free. Only by believing and following Him, we achieve peace, joy, and fullness.
Today’s secular society constantly invents new approaches that simply do not work. Moreover, these new-age philosophies, fancy meditations, and fraternity-apparently-based solutions are a source of pain and sin.
When we accept the Cross of Christ we commit to defending the name of the Savior, even knowing that it won’t be a popular message or worse, it will be used to attack us and make our life more difficult.
