Friends of the Rosary:
The fruit of the third Glorious Mistery is the Love of God, along with wisdom. The merciful love that Jesus and Mary profess to each of us through the Holy Spirit is what sustains us.
Here on earth, we all know Christians and non-Christians who are living examples of “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” (Gal 5:16-25) Knowingly or not, these people live by the Spirit.
Sadly, we see in our society how many try to redefine what’s love, kindness, and even family. They do smart marketing of the concept of love. But as everything induced by darkness, it all results in a big lie. The goal is the destruction of the human being, starting with the children and followed by youngsters in a troubled age.
To the power of sin, we must respond with righteousness, joy, generosity, purity, and virtues. We are called to perfection and holiness, in imitation of the virtues of Jesus and Mary.
Let’s keep our Rosary with us, in our pocket or purse, as a reminder of who we truly are — or aspire to be.
