Today, May 24th, we celebrate the Feast of Mary Help of Christians.
This advocation goes back to the Sixteenth century when Mary saved Christianity in the Western World over Islamism in the battle of Lepanto.
Our Lady Help of Christians leads us closer to her Son.
St. John Paul II said: “From Mary, we learn to surrender to God’s Will in all things. From Mary we learn to trust Him even when all hope seems gone.”
Mary is the queen of hope and mercy. And Her humility shows us how to be like Jesus Christ.
