Like Jesus’ disciples, we are troubled and questions arise in our minds, especially during this coronavirus pandemic time.
And what Jesus does? We see it in today’s reading. The Risen One suddenly appears in the midst of the disciples and shows them his wounded hands and feet. And said to them: “Peace be with you”.
He is not revengeful but peaceful, full of divine mercy.
Disciples’ incredulity gets transformed in joy.
We need to open our minds and our heart, repent from our sins (big or small) and trust in Jesus.
When we do that our life gets immediately changed, and we experience joy and hope. It’s magical; well, truthfully, it’s a mystery. But it happens this way. The forgiveness of sins opens the door to hope.
Today’s Luminous Mysteries show us how to overcome our day-to-day fear and anxiety. We just need to place our sights in Jesus and Mary.
