Friends of the Rosary,
In today’s reading of the New Testament, Jesus predicts the persecution of his followers. It’s happening now in many parts of the world. Saint John described in his first letter that “the world lies in the power of the evil one”.
We certainly see much wickedness and darkness around us. But we are of God, and “God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” (1 John 4). Jesus Christ, through His Cross and Resurrection, saved us and set us free.
We follow the light of the world, no matter the suffering and difficulties. As Jesus promised, “whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life”.
