Friends of the Rosary,
When we say properly the Hail Mary, we love, bless, and glorify the Holy Trinity.
By each Hail Mary, we give Our Lady the same honor that God gave Her when the Archangel Gabriel greeted Her.
The second part of the Hail Mary reveals the words of Saint Elizabeth, inspired by the Holy Spirit. The third part, added in the year 430 in the Council of Ephesus to condemn the Nestorian heresy, presents the Blessed Virgin Mary as the true Mother of God.
When we praise Mary, God the Father is glorified, because, as Saint Louis-Marie de Montfort explained, we are honoring the most perfect of His Creatures.
