Friends of the Rosary,
Our radical ego, along with our particular interpretation of suffering, determines our views. We are absorbed by our convictions, anxieties, and material interests. Additionally, society’s rules today–mostly contrary to the true faith–lead us into this direction.
We are so dependent on our emotions that we are unable to believe and experience the healing power of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. Add to it our pride of not accepting anything that we cannot physically see, touch, and understand.
In today’s reading, Jesus explains that He speaks in parables because we “look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand.”
With the help of our most gracious advocate, the Virgin Mary, we open the eyes of our heart to the Holy Spirit in order to understand the mysteries and the fruits of the Kingdom–wonderfully summarized in our daily Rosary, a true gift from Heaven.
