Friends of the Rosary,
Today is the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary Memorial, a feast instituted by Pope Pius XII in 1954.
Therefore, we celebrate Mary as the Queen of Heaven and Earth—the fifth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary.
We seek protection under her maternal mantle, knowing that She is concerned with our own salvation.
As Pope Pius XII declared, she petitions with maternal prayers, and she obtains what she seeks, by standing at the right hand of Her Son.

Today we renew the consecration of the human race to the Immaculate Heart of Mary—upon is founded our great hope.
We approach the throne of mercy and grace of our Queen and Mother to beg help in difficultly, light in the darkness, and solace in trouble and sorrow.
