Today, the first Sunday after Pentecost is the Solemnity Day of the Most Holy Trinity. We observe the mystery and dogma of faith that there is One, Eternal God, and in this One God there are three Divine Persons.
The Father created and predestined us. The Son redeemed us. The Holy Spirit sanctified and made us His temple.
All three Divine Persons contributed to the work of redemption. The Father sent His only-begotten Son to earth. After Christ’s ascension, the Holy Spirit became our Guide and Consoler.
The Father is not more God than the Son, neither is the Son more God than the Holy Spirit.
