In yesterday’s reading (LK 13:18-21), Jesus compared the kingdom of God to a mustard seed that the man makes grow until becoming a large bush. God is telling us that He wants good things to start small, in a humble way, and grow them over time.
The Divinity operates this way because it rejoices in our cooperation. The Lord is delighted when we use our freedom, intelligence, and creativity to build the Kingdom.
Wait, our poor spirit collaborating will the mighty and eternal one? That’s perfection, at least for an instant!
God plants seeds and wants us to cultivate them. Amazing!
