Friends of the Rosary:
A topic many people like to talk about is the end of the world. We read this season of Advent that the coming of Jesus in a cloud with power and glory will signal the end of time as we know it (Luke 21:20-28).
However, the Son of God is coming now through the mystery of the Eucharist to each one of us. We have a living God, in our midst, and we must do an effort to recognize it.
Jesus Christ embodies the new world, the new time (Luke 21:5-11). The old, broken world of sin and despair has been defeated by the Cross and the Resurrection.
Faith, hope, and charity are our God-given virtues to enjoy the new time in Jesus and Mary.
This Advent let’s make ourselves small and ask for forgiveness for the many offenses we commit.
