The month of July is dedicated to the Precious Blood of Jesus.
The Son of God shed His Blood for us on His Passion in the way to the Calvary.
The early Fathers said that the Church of God was born from the pierced side of Christ, and that the sacraments were brought forth through His Blood.
It’s the Blood made present on the altars during the Mass by the words of Consecration.
His Blood is source of sanctifying grace for us. It washes our soul and starts our eternal life.
