Friends of the Rosary,
Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, a feast to behold the truth of who God really is: a communion of Persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Introduced in the ninth century, the feast of the Blessed Trinity needs to be understood as the solemn expression of our faith in this triune life of the Divine Persons.
The Father sent his all-obedient, all-loving Son and the Holy Spirit—the fruit of the love of Father and Son—who came to dwell in the Church, in order to fill our hearts with a true love of God and to share with the uncreated Persons of the Trinity and with one another a communion of divine life.
Only in heaven we will properly understand what it means, in union with Christ, to share the very life of God through the Holy Trinity.
Today is also the Memorial of the St. Philip Neri, superseded by the Sunday Liturgy.
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
To Jesus through Mary!
