Friends of the Rosary,
The Lord gave St. Paul a thorn in the flesh and the privilege of abundant special visions and revelations. He chose this so the disciple might not become too elated — as we read yesterday in the Second Letter to the Corinthians 12:7-10.
Paul asked the Lord three times to remove this thorn (we never knew what this thorn was). And the Lord answered: “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.”
The thirteenth apostle understood the message, and since then, he was glad in his weaknesses “so that the power of Christ may dwell with me.”
And he explained: “Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Paul proved he was a true Apostle who suffered much for Christ and the Church.
We all should stop wishing and rather understand God’s plans for us. As Paul, we receive the necessary grace for our daily dwelling.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
To Jesus through Mary!
