Friends of the Rosary,
In today’s reading (Mt 13:24-30), Christ Jesus gives us the parable of the wheat — the good seed planted by God — and the weeds sowed by the Enemy of life.
Wheat and weed grow together until harvest time, when the angels of the Lord collect the good seed, bring it to eternal joy, and throw the weed into the fire of hell.
The faithful do not need to fear the work of the Evil one. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church explains (CCC 412), in the genius of divine providence, God even permits evil to manifest his power by drawing forth some greater god.
We remain in the Lord and refuse to put our trust in deceitful words.
