Friends of the Rosary,

In the Gospel today (Jn 20:11-18), Mary Magdalene stays outside the tomb weeping. She is asked first by the angels and then by the Lord himself by she is weeping.

Jesus calls Mary Magdalene by her name, and she recognizes Him. Her pessimism disappears. She goes from fear to joy!

We all are consoled by the truth that Jesus is seeing, knowing, and loving us, even when we feel troubled, discouraged, and far away from Him.

Also, Jesus said to her, Stop holding on to me,
for I have not yet ascended to the Father.
But go to my brothers and tell them,
‘I am going to my Father and your Father,
to my God and your God.”

Christ’s command to “stop holding on” means He desires greater intimacy than merely standing externally. He wants us to receive the Holy who will transform us into other Christ.

Jesus is Risen! Is risen indeed!

Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!

To Jesus through Mary!

Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will!
