Friends of the Rosary,
The Catholic faith is a divine gift that surpasses our understanding. Just take a look at loved ones who are not faithful. Consider how much pain they endure in their darkness. We, too, feel pain because we love them.
Vatican II explained the faith this way:
“God, out of the abundance of his love, speaks to men as friends and lives among them so that he may invite and take them into fellowship with himself.”
The Father did not put us on earth and left us on our own with nowhere to go except to the grave. He sent his beloved Son on earth.
He made us heirs to heaven, leaving all the instruction and aid we need to reach our inheritance in his Church.
The unbelievers and free-thinkers may feel free to do what they will, but that is untrue. They are slaves of sin and darkness, while we are children of the light, and we are given freedom for eternity.
