Friends of the Rosary,

Merry and Holy Christmas!

Today, the Seventh Day of the Octave of the Nativity of the Lord, we reprise the prologue of St. John’s Gospel, which we read on Christmas Day (Jn 1:1-18). The Word became flesh, “and we saw his glory.”

At the end of the year, the Gospel proclaims “in the beginning.”

“In the beginning was the Word,
    and the Word was with God,
    and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things came to be through him,
    and without him nothing came to be.
What came to be through him was life,
    and this life was the light of the human race;
    the light shines in the darkness,
    and the darkness has not overcome it.”

Since the Word became flesh and dwells among us, every moment offers a new beginning. The Church announces salvation day after day, inviting us to rejoice in the Lord.

Happy New Year in Christ!

Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!

Come, Holy Spirit, come!

To Jesus through Mary!
