Friends of the Rosary,
At the beginning of the year, on the ninth day of Christmas, in the memorial day of Saints Basil the Great and Gregory Nazianzen, and the day after the solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, the Lord Jesus invites us to follow the humility of His mother, the first Christian and role model for all the faithful (Matthew 23:8-12):
“The greatest among you must be your servant.
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled;
but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
To make the virtue of humility in our lives practical, we must worship our God and avoid false idols on earth.
“Call no one on earth your father;
you have but one Father in heaven.
Do not be called ‘Master’;
you have but one master, the Christ.”
Ave Maria
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
To Jesus through Mary!
Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
Please give us the grace to respond with joy!
