Friends of the Rosary,

In today’s Gospel (Mark 4:26–34), the parable of the mustard seed is revealed.

Christ Jesus said,

“To what shall we compare the Kingdom of God,
or what parable can we use for it?
It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground,
is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth.
But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants
and puts forth large branches,
so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade.”

God makes very great things starting from the very small in a gradual process, never drawing attention to Himself.

At God’s prompting, we start doing small things by planting the seed.

We take small steps and do not worry about the attention or the praise we attract.

The faithful sow the seed and take risks, leaving the rest to the mercy and providence of God.

Ave Maria!
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
To Jesus through Mary!

Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.
Please give us the grace to respond with joy!
