Happy New Year in Christ!
These days between Epiphany and the Baptism of the Lord invite us to reflect on the mission of Jesus. His words and deeds reveal His divine identity as the Son of God and call us to embrace our baptismal identity and promises.
Just as He healed and comforted the people of His time —in today’s reading, Mark 6:34-44, Jesus feeds the five thousand, symbolizing the hungry human race— the Gospel invites us to recognize the presence of Christ in our daily lives.
He continues offering His grace and mercy to us so we can transform our hearts and lives. Through prayer and reflection, we grow in our relationship with Him.
