Friends of the Rosary:
Today Sunday, we delight with the parable of the Good Samaritan (St. Luke 10:25-37), who is Jesus Christ and His infinite merciful love for us. The beaten victim on the road is Adam, the source and symbol of all fallen mankind.
Moved by man’s suffering, God the Father sends His Son down to earth. In his compassion, the Son cure our wounds and, moreover, offers Himself to be the expiation for our sins. “God so loved the world, so we ought to love one another” (1 Jn 4:9-11).
This parable shows that our neighbor is anyone who needs our help. Organized religion might not show its compassion, but we, as followers of Christ, must serve one another and never distance from from others’ needs.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
