Friends of the Rosary,
In today’s Sunday reading of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves (John 6:1-15), feeding five thousand hungry people, Christ Jesus shows He is intimately interested in our daily needs on earth.
At that time, he knew the crowd was hungry—they had been away from home all day and some for many days—and felt compassion and pity for them all. Today, it’s the same.
Christ has a genuine interest in our progress through life.
We need to turn to Him trustfully and sincerely. If we are true to Christ and the faith in our daily lives, he will find ways to free us from difficulties.
He may not remove the cause of our adversities, but we can trust that his mercy and power will be with us in our hour of need. We will experience his unexpected intervention… in his time, not at our demand.
