June 8, 2021, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Comment: Blessed Ones

The world teaches one thing to be happy and God the opposite one. It is now and it was in the time of the Roman Empire when Jesus Christ revealed the eight Beatitudes in the Sermon of the Mount — as we read yesterday (Mt 5:1-12).

To enjoy peace and gladness, we need to follow Jesus and Mary and participate in the divine life. Those who are merciful, clean of heart, and peacemakers are blessed and share the love of God.

For these wise souls among us, the reward might not come here on Earth but it is guaranteed in Heaven.

Why is so hard to believe Jesus Christ’s words and completely change our lives? It’s the disease of sin, along with a wrong way of managing the suffering that blocks us.

Let’s learn first to carry our own cross and invoke the merciful heart of Jesus and the immaculate heart of Mary.
