Friends of the Rosary,
Today, on the solemnity of the Corpus Christi we learn that the Eucharist is truly the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus. The Eucharist is Jesus Himself.
This is a powerful mystery –the Fifth in the Luminous– that goes beyond our limited human comprehension.
Saint John, inspired by the Holy Spirit, transcripts Jesus’ words to the crowd: “I’m the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever.”
The Son of the Creator of the Universe explicitly, and not metaphorically, told us to eat His flesh and drink His blood to have life, now and forever, within Him.
Friends, if we want to be alive and escape from the slavery of sin, we need to take Jesus Himself in the Eucharist.
We implore Our Heavenly Mother to help us.
