Friends of the Rosary,
On October 13, 1917, in Fatima, Portugal, around 70,000 people witnessed the largest miracle ever recorded. The “Miracle of the Sun” or “the day when the sun danced” took place exactly as the Virgin Mary promised to the three shepherd children – Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta Marto.
The supernatural event proved the validity of the Fatima Marian apparitions. It also showed that the Divinity, contrary to what was said in the atheist and Masonic culture at that time, was alive and attentive to humanity, even though men were embroiled in war and dying from the flu and other calamities.
The apparitions of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima proved to the world even if the man has separated God from his existence, God is present in human history and doesn’t abandon us.
Mary told the children that the power of prayer through the Holy Rosary, along with penance for sinners, is stronger than anything, and can change the course of history.
