Friends of the Rosary:
We heard yesterday the parable of the mustard seed. Jesus explained to the crowd (Mk 4:26-34) that the Kingdom of God is like a tiny mustard seed that once it is sown becomes the largest of plants.
How often do we feel that our insignificant work is not worth it for building the Kingdom of God?
We sense that there are people better prepared or even more suited because that’s their job like priests or religious. The Father doesn’t need anything from me, we say ourselves. Besides, I’m weak and sinful.
But that’s a wrong view. Even the smallest gesture, word, or thought means very much to Jesus. Every action counts and yields fruit. God takes it and makes it big.
Every one of us puts the mustard seed and the Almighty puts forth large branches. We all help to build the Kingdom.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
