Friends of the Rosary:
On this second Sunday of Lent, the three principal apostles — and all of the faithful today — had a vision of Christ in His glory during the episode of the Transfiguration (St. Matthew 17:1-9). It was given in order to strengthen to face the trials and the temptations.
On this second Sunday of Lent, the three principal apostles — and all of the faithful today — had a vision of Christ in His glory during the episode of the Transfiguration (St. Matthew 17:1-9). It was given in order to strengthen us to face trials and temptations.
For the very same reasons, this view of Heaven is given to encourage us and persevere in the conversion path of Lent. It also reminds us that the joy of the Resurrection and Easter is closer.
St. Paul reminded us that if we are sharers with Christ in his sufferings, we shall be sharers with Him in His glory.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
