Friends of the Rosary:
Jesus shares the same divine nature as the Father.
The relationship between the Father and the Son is one of perfect love and unity — and through the Son that we are able to know the Father and receive His love and mercy.
In today’s Gospel (Jn 15:9-11), Jesus said to his disciples:
“As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.”
We abide in the love of Jesus.
We are invited to have the same communion of love with Jesus that He has with the Father.
Through our baptism (the first Luminous Mystery that we pray today), we are united with Christ and become members of His body, the Church.
This means that we are called to share in His divine life and love and to participate in His mission of bringing salvation to the world.
Through prayer, the sacraments, and a life of charity, we can deepen our relationship with Jesus and grow in our communion of love with Him and with the Father.
“I have told you this so that my joy might be in you and your joy might be complete.”
