Friends of the Rosary:
“Take courage, for I have conquered the world,” Lord Jesus told the disciples, as we read today in the Scriptures (Jn 16:29-33).
The Evil One seems to be reigning in the world with snares and tricks, given what we see in the news and around us, in our families and communities. The Father of Lies never rests in his goal of devouring souls and making people miserable.
But we are people of God, and in Him, we find peace. Jesus is the good shepherd, and we lack nothing when we trust in Him.
Our sinful nature in a fallen world results in a lack of wisdom and knowledge.
We invoke the Blessed Mother Mary to bring us to her divine Son by praying today’s Joyful Mysteries.
