As we reflect upon the sorrowful passion of Christ Jesus this Holy Week, we realize that the love of God that comes with the Holy Spirit has the power to erase our sins.
The divine merciful love shines as pure light against the darkness of sin. The Evil One seeks to devour our souls, but as adopted children of God through baptism, and with the help of the Blessed Mother, we are able to face the Father of Lies and emerge victorious.
Following in the footsteps of the Author of Life, we can offer our own suffering as a means of purifying ourselves and moving closer to the glory of heaven, where we will join the Communion of Saints.
