Friends of the Rosary:

The first eight days of the Easter season — and today is the fourth — are celebrated as solemnities. Each day is a little Easter.

Like the first witnesses – Mary of Magdala and others – we should experience great joy in discovering that the Master is alive.

Being Christ alive, having risen from the dead means that He is present and He accompanies our lives at every step. It’s the living God gushing forth his unconditional love and mercy.

This Easter’s readings are amazing, beyond human comprehension. Today is the passage of the disciples on the road to Emmaus (Lk 24:13-35), representing all of us. Their hearts burned as they encountered Jesus. Their joy was overflowing.

Like the Emmaus disciples, we should run to tell everyone about the joyful experience of Christianity.

Ave Maria!
Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed!
