Friends of the Rosary,
We celebrate today the feast day of the Holy Family, venerating Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, as a model of the Christian family.
The Son Incarnate came to Earth into a family. He submitted Himself with infinite humility, love, and obedience to a human family.
Mary and Joseph were united to protect and raise Jesus. They had only one child, but He contained the whole of mankind.
The Holy Family lived in Nazareth in harmony and prayer.
Their holiness reveals that every family is invited to an ordinary daily life of grace and virtue. The Eternal Father wants to make holy every family.
