As faithful people, our light must shine for folks around us, Lord Jesus told us (Mt 5:13-16):
“Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.”
We’re His eyes, hands, and feet of Jesus, his committed disciples building the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. Through Baptism, we acquired the apostolic mission of bringing the true faith to the world.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.”
We are entrusted with the responsibility to represent Jesus!
