Friends of the Rosary:
In yesterday’s Gospel (Mt 6:7-15), Jesus gave us the Lord’s Prayer, which is on our lips and in our minds several times a day.
The prayer asks that the Father’s will be done “on earth as it is in heaven,” so that He will reign here below as well.
It’s a matter of heaven and earth coming together so that our human world will be filled with the knowledge and merciful love of God.
It’s not about escaping from Earth; it’s about reconciling Earth with Heaven before the second coming of the risen Christ.
To achieve this goal, we all collaborate in building the Kingdom here below as we store treasures in heaven, as the Lord Jesus is telling us in today’s reading.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.”
Jesus, I Trust In You!
To Jesus through Mary!
