Friends of the Rosary:

Today we honor and pray to St. Patrick. He was an influential saint who brought Catholicism to Ireland fifteen centuries ago. The whole country was converted from their pagan gods to the one true faith.

Across history, Ireland would play a large role in spreading the truth to all corners of the world, including the U.S.

In this autobiography, he prophetically wrote: “I am greatly God’s debtor, because he granted me so much grace, that through me many people would be reborn in God.”

Since the fifth century, St. Patrick remains for Irishmen the great bishop whom they venerate as their father in the Faith.

Ave Maria!

In the U.S., St. Patrick is the patron of the archdiocese of New York, Boston; Burlington, Vermont; Fort Worth, Texas; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Norwich, Connecticut; Portland, Maine; and Sacramento, California. Congratulations to all the faithful in these dioceses, and to all Americans with Irish roots!
