Friends of the Rosary:
Christianity continues to be persecuted all over the world. It’s an obvious attack on communist, socialist, and Islamic countries. In our western world, authentic Christianity is in a precarious position. Indoctrination to society carried by enemies of the faith put Christians under siege. Is this a surprise? Not at all.
As we read today in the Gospel (John 15:18-21), Jesus said to his disciples: “If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own.”
It has been a constant across history. As Our Saviour said, “If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.”
As Catholics, we’re not in the business of pleasing the world, as many prelates and organizations do. Our mission should be to follow Jesus and Mary, no matter the consequences.
Jesus, I Trust In You!
