Friends of the Rosary:

On each Rosary we start our petitions asking for us, God’s people, who are one Body in Christ, as St. Paul reminded us in the letter read last Friday (Rom 12:3-13).

As part of the Mystical Body of Christ, the Catholic and Apostolic Church, we all play different functions. There is the hierarchy, the priests, the consecrated, and the laypeople. No one is above each other because we all are children of God.

When we arrive in Heaven, we will see that the earthly differences in status mean nothing. Everyone is called to holiness. For almost nineteen centuries, the dominant thought was that only religious people could be saints. Now, we know that anyone can be a saint.

As we dwell on Earth, and per the wisdom of the Catholic Church, the doctrine gets enlightened. And we rejoice by knowing that holiness is at hand and through Baptism, we’ve entered the Mystical Body.

Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
All Saints, Pray for Us!
