In today’s Gospel (Lk 12:35-38), Lord Jesus is calling us to be vigilant for the Second Coming, which will take place “at an unexpected hour.”
Therefore, we await his arrival in glory with His angels. Come, Lord Jesus!
In the Acts of the Apostles, the angel addressed the disciples as were looking up at heaven as they saw Jesus ascending.
“Why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
We cultivate our faith to remain vigilant on his arrival, keeping our lamps lighted up.
