1.2 Why the Holy Rosary has superpowers?

It’s because its divine origin.

The Blessed Virgin Mary gave it to St. Dominic of Guzman in the 12th century as a tool to combat anything and anyone that goes against the peace and truth of Jesus Christ.

St. Padre Pio said that praying faithfully the Rosary was like holding the hand of the Mother of Jesus.

1.3 It is true that the Holy Rosary is a problem solving tool?

There is no problem, no matter how difficult is, that the Holy Rosary cannot solve, said Sor Lucia, the last visionary of Fatima who received visits of the Virgin Mary.

1.4 What is truly the Holy Rosary?

It’s the perfect summary of the Gospel. It includes the twenty most important mysteries of the New Testament.

These mysteries summarize the virtues of the lives of Jesus and Mary.

In addition, the Rosary contains the prayers of Our Father, Glory Be, Hail Mary, and the Fatima Prayer.

2. BELIEVE

2.1 How difficult is it to learn to pray the Rosary?

Not much but it requires some practice.

We have prepared a one-page guide with the sequence of the prayers.

Our community of The Rosary Network prays daily the Rosary and keeps its recording. You can check all of the Rosaries of last year. They are archived at our YouTube and Apple and Spotify podcast channels.

2.2 What’s the point of the continual repeating of the Hail Mary and the other prayers?

The repetition is intended to bring you to a healthy meditative state, prayerfully connected to Mother Mary, her Divine Son, and the Eternal Father.

It’s a big deal.

2.3 People say that you can easily get distracted.

Distraction is normal. It also happens at Mass, Adorations, and other times.

We all are far from perfection, and our daily preoccupations and projects often dominate our thinking.

When praying the Rosary, what matters is to have faith in Jesus and Mary. Our recitation is an expression of love to Our Savior and the Most Holy Mary.

2.4 Does the Rosary replace Mass?

No. The holy mass is the celebration of the Eucharist and the communion with the living God. It is mandatory for Christian Catholics to attend at least once a week to mass, active participating. In Mass we take the body and blood of Jesus Christ in the form of the Holy Eucharist.

After Mass, the Holy Rosary is the most important devotional practice, along with adoration of the Eucharist.

2.5 Who says that we should pray the Rosary every day?

The Virgin Mary requested it during her apparitions in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.

In other supernatural apparitions like Garabaldal and recently Medjugore is asking to recite the Rosary.

3. EXPERIENCE

3.1 Are there miracles attributed to the Rosary?

Many. There are historical, proven events and personal, private miracles.

The most important one is the victory of the Christian forces against Muslims in the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. It allowed  the Western Hemisphere to keep freedom and prosperity.

3.2 Is there any good book explaining the depths of the Rosary?

The best one is ‘The Secret of the Rosary’, written almost three centuries ago by St. Louis Mary de Montfort.

A recommended contemporary book is “Champions of the Rosary: The Rosary and Heroes of a Spiritual Weapon,” by Father Donald Calloway.

There is a free book in PDF, available to download, written by your host, Mikel A.

3.3 Is the Rosary supported by saints and popes?

Yes. Great contemporary saints such as Padre Pio, Mother Teresa, Faustina Kowalska, and Maximilian Kolbe enthusiastically supported the Rosary.

Since St. Dominic received the Rosary from the Virgin Mary, over twenty popes promoted the Rosary, often with inspirational writings.

John Paul II added the Luminous mysteries. Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI prays daily the Rosary.

3.4 Despite all of this evidence why so few people prays the Rosary?

Most of the Catholic parishes and pastors do not promote the Rosary.

The Rosary is a tool of orthodoxy and school of Christian life, as St. Louis Mary de Montfort described.

This Saint — who also established the methodology for the Consecration to Mary that Popes followed — stated that only parishes that daily pray the Rosary flourish.

3.5 Is it true that Satan is the enemy of the Rosary?

Yes. The Evil Doer flees when the Rosary of the Virgin Mary is prayed.

Across history, dark forces have put their energy in suppressing the Rosary.

The Most Holy Mary, Queen of the Universe, crashed the head of the Dragon — and she continues doing so.

The Holy Rosary is her tool.

4. UNIVERSAL

4.1 Is the Rosary for everyone?

Absolutely. Even non-Christians are invited to pray the Marian prayer.

The Virgin Mary, who identifies herself in Fatima as Our Lady of the Rosary, wants to protect the entire humanity under her mantle.

After all, She is the Queen of Heaven and Earth.

4.2 Does the Rosary prayer increase virtues?

Absolutely. Each mystery has at least one virtue associated.

At The Rosary Network, we always mention the fruits and virtues to cultivate.

These are the fruits and virtues:

4.3 Does the Mercy of Jesus and Mary flows over the Rosary?

Yes. The Rosary is an instrument of truth and mercy.

The Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayer over the beads of the Rosary.

The Polish nun St. Faustina Kowalska received the revelation of this prayer from Jesus Christ.

At The Rosary Network, we’ve added  the prayers of the Divine Mercy Chaplet on Tuesdays and Fridays when we recite the Sorrowful Mysteries.

4.4 Why the Rosary is changing over time.

The Divine Craftsman is enriching the Rosary as the human history goes on.

For example, the Luminous Mysteries were added by St. John Paul II in 2002.

Also, the Fatima prayer was added a few decades

ago.

And we learn the recitation of the Divine Mercy.

The Rosary is a living prayer that evolves in sync with human life.

4.5 I noticed that the prayer varies depending countries. Why is this so?

The mysteries, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Our Father are the same. Beyond that, every community likes to personalize the Marian prayer.

That is an enrichment of the Rosary.

In Spain, for example, there is the tradition of praying the Litanies of the Virgin Mary at the end of the Rosary.

5. DREAM

5.1 Are there recommended times to pray the Rosary?

Every moment is a good moment. Our Blessed Mother in Heaven is always responsive!

Some faithful like to pray it at the beginning of the day. Others before going to sleep.

Decades ago, in many rural villages of Spain, the Rosary was prayed at 7:30pm. At The Rosary Network, we do a semi-live prayer every day at 7:30pm.

5.2 What about praying it in a group after daily Mass?

That’s excellent. Many parishes in the U.S. follow this practice.

It’s also right to pray it before Holy Mass. In Portugal and Spain — to name only two countries — there is a tradition of doing so.

In group or alone, in a Church, at home, walking, driving or commuting, every moment is fine.

5.3 Why do you highlight the expression of The Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary?

It is key to stress that the Marian prayer has a divine origin.

That’s because some bishops and priests wrongly spread the idea that the Rosary is a meditative prayer just based on historical tradition, following a practice also established in other religions.

It’s the Rosary of Mary! She gave it to the universal Church as a way to better reach her Son.

5.4 Are there promises attached to the Rosary?

Yes, very powerful ones.

By serving Mary, we receive countless graces, along with her special protection.

Devotion of the Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

St. Dominic was told by the Virgin that “he who propagates my Rosary will be saved”.

The Rosary allows us to better serve Jesus and Mary on earth and put it on the path of eternal life.

5.5 Can you be more specific?

Please check the fifteen promises to Christians who faithfully pray the Rosary.

They were formulated by St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche.

In addition, the Memorare prayer reminds us that anyone who seeks the intercession of the Holy Mary gets answers.

The merciful eyes of Mary, Queen of the Universe, are upon us.

5.6 It should be more people, including worldwide leaders, who recite the Rosary, right?

Yes. Humankind should acknowledge this amazing gift from Heaven given for our salvation.

Beyond admired saints such as Padre Pio and Mother Teresa, some geniuses have prayed the Rosary every day. Mozart and Pasteur were two of them

that we know of.
