The Son of the Living God came down to earth to save souls. St Denis, the 3rd-century martyr and Bishop of Paris, said that there is nothing nobler and pleasing to God than to cooperate in the work of saving souls and to frustrate the devil’s plan for ruining them.
Jesus Chris built his Church upon the rock of Peter (MT 16:13-20) to undo the work of darkness. The empire of the Evil One was upset with the foundation of the Catholic Church, the mystical body of Jesus Christ.
The Virgin Mary, the protectress of the Church, told us to pray the Rosary to save souls.
Across history, we have seen the evil forces have an overwhelming fear of the Rosary. This is our spiritual sword.
