Friends of the Rosary,
What’s really important in our life? What’s the purpose of our existence?
Jesus Christ revealed it to us in the Gospel’s reading of this Sunday (Matthew 22:34-40).
The Son of God said: “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Loving the Holy Trinity and the Virgin Mary and willing the good of our neighbor. That’s our number one priority in life.
And why is that? Because love is what truly God is.
And how do we participate in this love? By listening and speaking to God, and loving what He loves—which is to say, everyone and everything.
